It's one 'em days. After Christmas...where all you want to do is lounge around and think about all those sweet deals going on, almost like Black Friday. But there is work today...boo...

I felt really casual today so mustered up this outfit together. My entire outfit including jewelry (excluding watch (was a gift!)) and shoes cost me less than $100! Woot, woot!

Do you gals have a go-to casual outfit you go by? Casual is so comfy!

Ever feel...

Ever feel like the stars are not aligning right sometimes? Almost like something in your life is off balance, almost nothing is meshing together easily. Not that life is easy but not as easily as it seems for others.

Sometimes I have this thought and and questions of what I should be in the near future. I guess, yea, you can say I still don't know what I would like to be when I grow up (I'm in my late 20's now, YIKES!)

Peppy Peplum

My current fashion obsession this weekend? Peplum tops, not just regular peplum tops but peplum stripe tops! They're just too gorgeous to just get one.

Peplums are girly and has a vintage feel to them. Yet they're like skirts but not like them because they sit at your waist. I was hesitant at first  because I wasn't sure my waistline could handle it but you know what? After putting one on, I felt it helped out my waistline a bit. There's no harm in trying one at any store so I highly suggest it!

I picked up a few at Forever 21 this weekend but then saw some I adored online after. Ever feel like you had buyers' remorse even if it just a few dollars? I think we know how that feels.

I've chosen a few that I couldn't keep my eyes away from online. Had to show you gals...

I mean the holidays! The holidays are so hectic I wonder how some families go about them. I'm in awe. With that being said, I am obsessed with coats and jackets right now. Can't get 'nuff of them. Is there one your particularly hung up on? For example, I'm hung up on capes right now. They're classy and chic. I'm in search for a colored one to match with some black boots. Yum!

Take some time...

Took me a little time but I guess a getaway for a few weeks is good for anyone.

Have you ever visited a completely foreign land and came back home and suddenly things feel different and you see start to view things differently?

Try it some time, go somewhere where you don't even understand the language, come home and see if you feel the same. I do and I don't, weird feeling.

Anyways, what I felt was most different in all the places I had visited is definitely the fashion. 

I came to the conclusion that the U.S. is a melting pot not only of culture but of fashion. Each country has their own sense of style but in the U.S., anything goes for all cultures and ethnicities.

Which country do you like the fashion best? Paris, Japan, Brazil?

Fri Fri Friday!

We're almost there. 5 more hours (in PST terms). Freedom is calling (only for two days though).

What shall we do? Is it me or is it extremely hard to even focus when it comes down to the last even 5 hours of work?

It'll be 90 degrees here in LA. Can ya believe it? I can't either. I'll be attending a wonderful wedding of two awesome people (one of them being my HS buddy)!

Tis the Fall Season...

Much to my objection, Fall is definitely in California, or is it? News says it'll be 90 degrees this weekend (again!).

I pull out my sweater and put away my sweater. I put on a jacket, I leave my jacket.

I don't remember the ups and downs of the weather being this drastic in CA. I literally have the urge to wear socks right now because my toesies are a bit cold. Yet I'll prob be wearing my maxi dress this weekend...

One thing for sure, you do have to sometimes pull out your umbrella here in the morning with the mists of rain. I found a few that are just sooo adorable!

I'm unsure of their abilities but definitely could be an added accessory!

Travel Shoes

I'll be traveling overseas soon and will be doing some major walking around the country and city visiting various tourist areas. 

I know the suggested pair of shoes to wear are sneakers but what if I would like to be just a little bit more stylish? Could I wear flats? I think it'd be okay because I'm more comfortable in my flats than sneakers...

I really need help on this one, any gals have any suggestions on some great stylish travel shoes?

It's all about the hair!

I'm a HUGE fanatic of hairstyles and I don't know why...

I feel like a hairstyle can make such a huge difference in a person's appearance and outfit.

I'm not a hairstylist at all but will be attending another wedding party this weekend and wish (and will attempt) to style any of the following hairstyles with my dress...

I just all turns out well or else I'll appear as if I'm early for Halloween! Eek!

Some people get a rush from driving fast, jumping off airplanes, etc. etc.

I get a rush when I find an awesome deal on anything fashion. So when I stumbled upon this tiered necklace at Charlotte Russe for only $1.99... score!

Its not too heavy either because the beads are acrylic and because it has different tones in there, I can wear it with black, gold, silver, or gray. Cool!

I wore it casually today to run just a bunch of errands around town.

What is your pumpkin?

Halloween is around the corner and I LOVE pumpkin carving!

And surprisingly I've only carved a pumpkin twice for two years of Halloween and love it.

Where would you travel to?

I've been wanting to travel for some time now. Just never been anywhere out of the country except to Rosarito, Mexico. 

I imagine myself to somewhere tropical and carefree. Where clocks rarely exist so that you won't even realize the passing of time... almost like Las Vegas. Haha.

Since it's cooling down, you often hear about a lot of celebrities traveling to warmer locations. Wouldn't that be nice to be able to do that?

Caught some nice places I would love to go or imagine to go to. Where would you go to warm up for this cool down?

Turquoise in the Fall

I LOVE the color turquoise! It gives a pop to summer outfits and you can definitely add it to Fall outfits.

It's a lovely mix! I've gathered some turquoise options for your viewing and you can't deny that these will bring attention to wherever the color lands.

I do have a question though... would you describe turquoise as a green mix or a blue mix?

It's Friday y'all!! You know what that means? It's time to get those many, many outfits ready for those different events we will attend this weekend.

I have a baby shower, two parties and a birthday dinner to attend to. All in two days and three nights (starting tonight). I really have no idea how I will be able to attend any of these but I'll let you know how these go.

The Scariest Heels of All Time

There are some pretty crazy and out there ideas we've seen for fashion but have you seen these heels?

They're called Scary Beautiful from collaboration of artist Leanie van der Vyver and Dutch shoe designer René van den Berg. How do you walk in them? I have no idea!

I sometimes have trouble in 5 inches heels after a few hours in them but this must be the highest (literally) that we can get!

Ironically these heels look like they're in reverse even (the front side is the back).

It is definitely an ankle breaker! What do you gals think?

Which Fall top would you pull out?

The summer has been so blistering in California. It feels nice to have to pull out a sweater or light cardigan once in a while...

I especially like wearing flannels because they're comfy, soft, and easy to wear. 

And guess what? I LOVE wearing my bf's flannels. For some reason, his flannels are even softer (I guess cause they're more worn? haha), comfier (cause they're bigger), and this might sound weird but has the smell of him...

I have never worn lime green before but fell drawn to these two lime green tops when I saw them.

Summer's over but wouldn't these be a cute transition to Fall with an orange sweater and brown belt?

No it's not a down day but a day where you don't want to do anything because in your head it is the weekend already!

I have a baby shower to plan and have so many ideas, it's hard to get them down on paper!

Not only that I have this idea in my head for DIY makeshift photobooth and I'm afraid of it looking rather... stupid?

Have you guys ever had ideas where you think it's great and cute in your head but you get this 2nd thought that maybe it's not that great of an idea after all? Hmm.. I don't know..

How I Satisfy My Sweet Tooth

I currently have this major sweet tooth for donuts and I can't figure out why because I NEVER crave donuts. (I did mention that my blog is about anything right? =)

One of my gfs sent me all these pictures of these deliciously designed donuts which fueled the craving further. 

Some of these are so cute by the way. Almost too cute to eat. It'd be like eating a baby chick!

How do you gals satisfy your sweet tooth? 

Has anyone ever come across that they like the way desserts look more than they taste? I like sweets but probably two mouths full before I drop it and declare it too sweet for me. 

For example, I love the way wedding cakes look because they're so beautiful and can't wait to take a bite out of it but one bite in, I'm done. 

Maybe it's just me...huh?

How I try to stay inspired...

Do you have those days where it's hard to get out of bed and feel inspired at all? Today was definitely one of those days.

The Beginning...

This is the beginning of an inspiration to anything. It's hard to just find one interest and write about only one thing. I like all sorts of things! I'm also shy online but for some reason not in person.

Accessories, oh what can I say about you? Do you have a closet stocked full of accessories? You know how with clothes you can donate them, give them away, or sell them? What do you do with accessories and jewelry? Do they just go directly into the trash?

I have been fortunate to give them to my sister who graciously took them but what does everyone else do? Just like clothes, don't we have to move the old out to bring the new in?
