Where would you go?

Nothing like a casual Friday to kick off relaxing for the weekend due to hectic festivities that ended 2012. It's warmed up just a tiny bit in CA, a whopping 72 degrees high today. I'm pretty sure soo many are hoping for out there.

Have you gals ever thought of living anywhere besides where you are now? For example, I've thought of living in a rural area, something completely different from the CA lifestyle, but didn't know which city would sit me best... hmm, have to give this some thought.

Would you live out of country even? I heard Singapore is beautiful and easy place to live and adapt to. Or how about Switzerland where I've read has an above average standard of living?

Anyways, just a ponder here and there... here's what I'm sporting today.

Chambray top - local boutique
stripe sweater - local boutique
necklace - Wet Seal
Jeans - Levi's
Booties - Charlotte Russe
Ring - Forever 21

New Year, New Beginning

Happy New Year lovelies of the lovelies!

As a lot of people are putting out there, where did 2012 go? What has been accomplished in 2012? Not much I can tell ya. The worst part is I have a quote I ripped out of a magazine to motivate myself right in front of my desk, I try to remind myself everyday... "Start believing in your destiny. All the great ones do. If you can't, 2012 will be just another year." Do I believe? To every core in my body! Did I follow it? None the least to say...=/

This quote will be updated to say 2013! Here's to best coming to everyone in 2013. I literally mean it. I have to get it through my head that even if I might not necessarily have what I see others have but it still makes me so thrilled to see others happy.

Also, I've just met some lovely bloggers through a super fun link up! Check out the link up through The Tiny Heart's blog here:

Post Christmas Casual-ness...

It's one 'em days. After Christmas...where all you want to do is lounge around and think about all those sweet deals going on, almost like Black Friday. But there is work

I felt really casual today so mustered up this outfit together. My entire outfit including jewelry (excluding watch (was a gift!)) and shoes cost me less than $100! Woot, woot!

Do you gals have a go-to casual outfit you go by? Casual is so comfy!

I'll try my best to remember where each item came from...

khaki jacket - Old Navy
pink coral jeans & belt - Forever 21

Ever feel...

Ever feel like the stars are not aligning right sometimes? Almost like something in your life is off balance, almost nothing is meshing together easily. Not that life is easy but not as easily as it seems for others.

Sometimes I have this thought and and questions of what I should be in the near future. I guess, yea, you can say I still don't know what I would like to be when I grow up (I'm in my late 20's now, YIKES!)

I stumbled across this website which tells you what you are in your previous and past lives, and what feelings/traits we need to or have released and what we should (suggested) embrace in our future.

And I feel...what it said about me was true!...

Check out your past and new life... please let me know if you feel it's accurate or not. I'm really curious...

Here's what it says about mine...

I should release these traits:

- Ungrounded wanderlust
- Fixating on the future
- Righteous zealotry

And embrace these traits:

- Community activism
- The power of Now
- Playful exploration

To me it's true! HAHA. You know the weird thing is... I was never big on astrology nor horoscopes but sometimes a little awakening from an outside source is a bit of an eye opener...

Peppy Peplum

My current fashion obsession this weekend? Peplum tops, not just regular peplum tops but peplum stripe tops! They're just too gorgeous to just get one.

Peplums are girly and has a vintage feel to them. Yet they're like skirts but not like them because they sit at your waist. I was hesitant at first  because I wasn't sure my waistline could handle it but you know what? After putting one on, I felt it helped out my waistline a bit. There's no harm in trying one at any store so I highly suggest it!

I picked up a few at Forever 21 this weekend but then saw some I adored online after. Ever feel like you had buyers' remorse even if it just a few dollars? I think we know how that feels.

I've chosen a few that I couldn't keep my eyes away from online. Had to show you gals...

It's here....

I mean the holidays! The holidays are so hectic I wonder how some families go about them. I'm in awe. With that being said, I am obsessed with coats and jackets right now. Can't get 'nuff of them. Is there one your particularly hung up on? For example, I'm hung up on capes right now. They're classy and chic. I'm in search for a colored one to match with some black boots. Yum!

What are your thoughts on the ones below? Help me out here! =)

Take some time...

Took me a little time but I guess a getaway for a few weeks is good for anyone.

Have you ever visited a completely foreign land and came back home and suddenly things feel different and you see start to view things differently?

Try it some time, go somewhere where you don't even understand the language, come home and see if you feel the same. I do and I don't, weird feeling.

Anyways, what I felt was most different in all the places I had visited is definitely the fashion.

I came to the conclusion that the U.S. is a melting pot not only of culture but of fashion. Each country has their own sense of style but in the U.S., anything goes for all cultures and ethnicities.

Which country do you like the fashion best? Paris, Japan, Brazil?

The fashion possibilities are endless...
